Privacy
You can read every page, work out your bill and share anything without an account, and we keep nothing about you when you do.
Who we are
Borough Book is an independent project made by Pavel Guzhikov. It is not run by any council or party. Write to boroughs@guzh.uk about anything on this page.
Reading the site
- No account, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.
- The bill calculator and the balance-it tool run in your browser. Your band, discounts and choices are never sent to us.
- The postcode finder sends your postcode from your browser straight to postcodes.io, a free service using official data. We never see it, and it is never stored.
- Vercel, which serves the site, keeps standard request logs (including IP addresses) for a short time to run and protect it.
- RSS feeds are plain files: nobody is recorded as following anything.
Email alerts
We do not offer email alerts yet, so we hold no email addresses. Follow pledges by RSS instead.
If you write to us
Emails to boroughs@guzh.uk are used only to check and make a correction or publish a reply you asked us to publish. A published reply shows its words, the sender’s public role and the date, never an email address. We never add anyone to a mailing list from the inbox.
People named on the site
We name only councillors, council officers and elected mayors, from official publications, in their public role. Payments to people are shown only as totals, and only candidates who were elected are named.
